
UPCOMING EVENTS She Rocks calendar release party - Elysium - Thur, Nov 8 | AMF Staff Executive Director, Suzanne Quinn Suzanne joined AMF in 2006 after a career that focused on start-up business ventures. Suzanne was on the staff of the SXSW Film Festival to start up their marketing, sales and sponsorship program. She oversaw a national advertising and sponsorship program for the festival and launched the SXSW Film trade show. After four years, Ms. Quinn left SXSW to join the staff of the Austin Film Society (AFS) as Studio Director to create Austin Studios, a 20-acre film production facility. Ms. Quinn was responsible for financial management and reporting, marketing, operations and contract negotiations with productions. Austin Studios was formed through a public/private partnership between the City of Austin and AFS. During Quinn�s tenure, the nonprofit venture worked with more than 60 film and video productions, which resulted in over $650 million in economic impact to Austin and created more than 3,500 jobs in the industry. Suzanne's background with independent art and operations is a perfect match for an organization wanting to take things to the next level. Alissa's responsibilities include development and enhancement of AMF programs, general operations, event coordination, and volunteer and office management. For four years prior to becoming a full-time staff member, Alissa contributed to AMF part time in program development and event coordination. Her professional experience includes project and grant management at the Texas Department of Public Safety and large-scale event planning at South by Southwest Conferences and Festivals. Alissa holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Texas at Arlington and a J.D. from Texas Tech University. She is a member of the Texas Bar. Communications & Program Support, Kim Reese After 10+ years in corporate America, Kim decided to move to Austin to pursue her passion for music marketing. Kim brings a wealth of experience including messaging strategy, brand building and local marketing from one of the premier brands in the country. Kim wears many hats at AMF, and she is especially intrigued by the latest developments in digital marketing and all the opportunities for independent artists. AMF greatly benefits by Kim's fanatical attention to detail and communications savvy, and she holds a B.F.A. from Birmingham-Southern College.
