INCUBATOR ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Before applying for the Incubator you must refer to the following list of requirements to ensure that your band/project is eligible.  To qualify for the Incubator award, an applicant must:

• Have a permanent residence in Austin or within 50 miles of Austin;
• Have previously produced a demo or full length recording;
• Not currently be under contract with a nationally recognized record label or publisher;
• Have sufficient original new material to complete a new recording;
• Have the ability to contribute a $500.00 participation fee if selected as the Incubator Awardee;
• Already own or have arrangements to acquire instruments, equipment, and/or rehearsal space;
• Be a member of the Austin Music Foundation;
• Not be currently involved in any litigation, investigation, or proceeding, nor have any reasonable basis to believe such is likely; and
• Not be family members of AMF employees, executive staff, Board of Directors, or Advisory Board Members.
