The record has placed in the Top Ten best-selling artist list at Waterloo Records for 3 weeks since its release, and Tucker has received great support from Austin radio, including airplay KUT, especially on John Aielli's famed Eklektikos program. He has also been identified as one of the hot SXSW picks by the Kings of A&R industry tipsheet. Tucker has been performing frequently throughout Austin since the CD Release and will perform during SXSW at the Austin Music Foundation Showcase at Hole in the Wall (2538 Guadalupe) on Thursday, March 18th, 2004 at 11:00 pm. Other performances during the week of SXSW include a sit-in for Ray Benson's private birthday party on Tuesday, March 16th and a show at Roky Ericson's Ice Cream Social at 1:00 am on Saturday, March 20th at Threadgill's World Headquarters. The Austin Music Foundation Incubator Awardee followed up a standing-room only CD Release Party at The Parish on February 5th with four nights of sold-out shows with Ballet Austin at the Paramount Theatre. The troupe choreographed an ensemble dance piece to several of his songs, as well as separate pieces by Grammy winner Shawn Colvin and Grupo Fantasma. Look for Tucker's upcoming in-store performances at Borders throughout Texas, as well as shows in the Waterloo in the Park Spring Concert Series and KGSR's Live at the Nutt at the Nutty Brown Caf�. Tucker was selected as the 2003-04 Incubator Singer-Songwriter Awardee from nearly 200 Austin area artists to participate in Austin Music Foundation's nationally recognized Austin Music Incubator Program sponsored by the Effie and Wofford Cain Foundation.
