The Austin Music Incubator is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for independent artists, and AMF is very proud to be able to offer a second term of the Incubator for 2005/06 for Austin's amazing artists. Musicians are encouraged to apply online on our website, and don't forget that the deadline is January 13th, 11:59pm, CST.

There are some exciting changes from the first Incubator term to this one - broader genre categories, and an expansion of the program in which we are proud to present the 6 Finalists as well as the 3 Awardees with a financial award!

Please join us on Wednesday evening at the Austin City Limits Studios to hear about program changes and the experiences and advice of past Awardees and Advisory Board members alike. This opportunity only comes once every 2 years - don't miss it! 


Previous Incubator awardees, Advisory Board Members and AMF administrators will be on the ACL Studio stage as panelists. Artists will describe their experience working with the AMF and the mentorship provided by the Advisory Board, and what it takes to succeed in this comprehensive program for motivated artists. Advisors will discuss their role as mentors in the program and explain the guidelines within which they are evaluating the applications.AMF staffers will also discuss changes to the Incubator 2005/06 program and outline the phases of the Incubator program.
 There will also be time for Q&A for questions about the program and/or the application. Panelists for this Forum include:
