We miss live music, so we brought our #LocallyGrownMusic series online.
DOSSEY is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who has honed an undeniable sound on-stage and in-studio, marrying her adoration for funky 70s Nile Rodgers guitar licks, soaring disco melodies, modern synth-pop rhythms, and unusual samples. This effort has created an infectiously Fuschia and sequin-soaked, hook-filled world for her followers, who are hungry for a deeper, edgier and romantic archetype of pop.

More about DOSSEY
DOSSEY‘s energetic brand of alt-pop was launched into the public consciousness with the feature of her 80s synth-pop earworm, Heartbeats, by none other than NPR’s All Songs Considered, who touted her as one of 100 artists to see at SXSW in 2019.
Soon after, her collaboration with Canadian EDM producer Disero, Better Run, debuted on Spotify’s official “All New Indie,” “Indie Radar,” and “New Music” playlists.
Coming of musical age in a city known for historically for country, blues, and psych-rock has undoubtedly been a challenge faced by not only DOSSEY but any pop artist in Austin, however, DOSSEY has launched to the forefront of the town’s burgeoning Pop obsession.
She has spearheaded the formation of “Pop Union”, whose aim is to unify all of the town’s pop songwriters, artists, and producers with agents, photographers, videographers and other creatives, in hopes that together, they might build a strong community that changes the narrative about the genre in the town.
