Music Cities Together COVID-19 Impact Survey
Austin Music Foundation has partnered with Music Cities Together, an initiative focused on strengthening collaboration, promoting best practices, and democratizing research related to local music scenes.
We are working with Sound Music Cities and fellow music nonprofits ALL ATX, Austin Texas Musicians, Black Fret, EQ Austin, HAAM, Red River Cultural District, and The SIMS Foundation to help get the word out about the Music Cities Together COVID-19 Impact Survey. The survey aims to gather information from everyone in the music industry who has been affected by the COVID-19 shutdown.
The results will be used to inform local and national policymakers and music-support organizations of what the music and entertainment industries need most right now. We need to hear from all segments of the Austin music ecosystem: Music creatives, venue owners and staff, promoters, festivals, recording studios, record labels and management, production support, music development and/or manufacturing, and anyone else who derives at least part of their income from music.
We encourage all musicians and music businesses to take a few minutes to complete this quick, anonymous survey to help determine. Our experiences tell a powerful story that needs to be heard! The poll closes on May 1st.
