About Our Speakers

Heidi Labensart has been working as a publicist with McGuckin Entertainment PR since before her graduation in 2005 from St. Edward’s University in Austin with a bachelor of arts degree in communications, but she’s had a head and heart for music and entertainment since she was a child in Colorado. Heidi consults with clients on their publicity goals – from new album releases and tour publicity to developing strategies and techniques in messaging and image development to organizing special events and tours.

Sharna Pascolo grew up in Australia with the desire to travel overseas. She studied Event Management, marketing and promotion before joining forces with her husband Rob to take on the music industry in her new hometown, the Live Music Capital of the World. Together they co-founded PennyLoafer PR, a public relations agency that also books shows and tours, and assists bands with digital marketing efforts.
