SaulPaul / AMF Board President

SaulPaul was appointed AMF Board President in 2020. He is a world-renowned rapper, singer-songwriter, speaker, and social justice advocate who founded the Be The Change Challenge, which seeks to inspire and empower youth and young adults. SaulPaul has garnered two Grammy-award nominations, presented three TEDx Talks, and performed at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.

Alex Vallejo / AMF Vice Chair

Alex previously served as AMF’s Creative Director from 2010-2016 and is currently the Vice President of ATX production label VMG (Vallejo Music Group), Operations Director for School Of Rock (Southwest Austin and Round Rock), and is also a talent buyer and partner at EPS (Blues On The Green, Austin FC). Alex is the co-founder of the Pachanga Latino Music Festival and best known as the drummer of award-winning Austin, TX rock band, Vallejo.

Jenny Dugas / Executive Director

With a combined 18+ years of non-profit & entertainment sector experience, Jenny brings unique expertise, perspective, and passion to music philanthropy. Before joining AMF in 2012, she served as GRAMMY Awards Project Manager for the Recording Academy (National Office, L.A.), where she worked closely with major & independent record labels, agencies and high-profile recording artists in her position as Rock & Alternative GRAMMY Awards lead. Jenny has also worked independently as an artist manager, event producer, consultant, and in a variety of TV / Film production capacities for companies including NBC, ABC, HBO, IMAX, and Lionsgate, in both Los Angeles and New Orleans. She is grateful to have served the Austin music community for over a decade.

Kate Bernard ‘KP’ / Programs and Operations Manager

Originally from the U.K, Kate moved to Austin in 2010 and is a veteran of the local music scene as a Neo Soul / R&B artist and singer-songwriter. Kate has toured nationally with her musical projects, opening for Sting, Snoop Dogg, The Flaming Lips & Questlove, has been an official SXSW artist, and has traveled nationally as a music ambassador for Visit Austin. In her work at AMF Kate continues to nurture her deep desire to elevate and empower the creative community around her through heart-led, self-aware leadership.

Einar Pedersen / Resident Artist Consultant & ADP Consultant Lead

When Einar is not mentoring AMF artists, he is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, & production manager, currently working with acts including Duran Duran, Peaches, & The Fray. With over a 30+ years of career experience touring with Kelly Clarkson, Reba McIntyre, Gwen Stefani, & others, Einar offer’s a firsthand account of successes and failures at every level, to help artists attract the attention they seek.

Johnny Goudie / ADP Artist Consultant

Johnny brings years of experience and knowledge of the music business to the table at AMF. Johnny is a Cuban-American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, host and podcaster. Through his four-decade career Johnny’s musical experiences include being the frontman of many bands including Goudie (Elektra Records), the guitarist/keyboardist/backing vocalist for renowned touring acts like Ian Moore, a songwriter working with the likes of Kathy Valentine (Go-Go’s) and Patty Griffin and host of the popular “How Did I Get Here?” podcast based in ATX.

SHIELA GONZALEZ / SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING MANAGER

Shiela is an experienced member of both the business and creative sides of the music industry. Previously a valuable part of the C3 Presents/Live Nation team as their Concerts Marketing Coordinator, she currently serves as our spectacular Social Media Marketing Manager. Creatively, Shiela is a Mexican-Nicaraguan Latin-RnB singer, songwriter, and performer with a collection of accolades under her belt, including official performances at Austin City Limits Music Festival and South By Southwest, Austin Music Awards nominee for Best Latin Artist, Recording Academy member, and “On the Radar” Billboard Latin Artist. Whether on or off-stage, Shiela prides herself on bringing people together at live events and applying her unique perspective and cultural awareness to uplift her team and community.
