Event Recap: East Riverside Spirits & Music Festival
October is always a busy festival season for the team at Austin Music Foundation and this year was no exception! In addition to two weekends at Austin City Limits Music Festival, October also brought the inaugural year of the East Riverside Spirits & Music Festival in our neighborhood! The first year festival brought together live music, delicious food trucks, locally distilled spirits, specialty cocktails and more for a day of community fun in the sun on Saturday, October 21.
Several former AMF Artists of the Month performed at the festival including Tje Austin (August 2017), Jam Therapy (January 2016), and Ulrich Ellison & Tribe (February 2012)! Our Artist Development Program graduate James Junius also took to the stage for a special performance. Other artists who performed at the event also included Jake Andrews Band and Ella Reid. We also got to walk around and sample several delicious spirits and cocktails from local distilleries including Real Spirits Distilling Co., Spirit of Texas Distillery, Andalusia Whiskey Co., Austonian Whiskey, and many more!
